Review content:
This community is like a little resort. Very reasonable home prices. Must lease land (approx $645 mo.) that includes pool & spa (very nice), exercise room, pool tables, dry suana, paperback library. Assoc dues are approx $15 a year. The managers, Michael & Gary are very nice & helpful. No one has a crystal ball on your future rent. When I purchased and asked about rent, they explained that for the last 4 out of 5 years the rent increase has been $17 a month and that 1 of those 5 years, there was no rent increase. I've also been in the office when they explained that to other callers. Their office is very busy at times (especially on bingo days, 2 buck lunch days, etc). I got jammed up at the gate on one of these days & I asked why. My understanding is, that the phones are connected to the gates, & when people are trying to get in on these special event days, cars get jammed up at the gate while they are on the phone. Joelle, if you can get your mom in to Desert Sands (must have income of 3x rent & only 1 pet), do it, you won't be disappointed. This community & its management are jewels. If I were you, I wouldn't even mention you're previous experience. Get a nice clean start.\r
