To LuvableJL2, You brought your dog into Trish's covered in sores healed and not. You asked that the hair be left as long as possible. The groomer stated it needed to be cutdown to start the hair growth over again since the hair was bald where the sores had been and are still. The remaining hair was long. You decided you didn't want to cut the hair short so the dog was groomed and turned out just as the groomer said it would. You couldn't possibly trim the dog evenly unless it was shaved down. Your dog not caring for being groomed is not uncommon especially after you took her directly to a second grooming shop to fix your mistake. Your dog went to two different groomer's in a row. Who's to say why your dog acted funny. Possibly the 2nd grooming or the sores were bothering her. So many dogs are happy to get the weekly to every six week groomings at our shop and come right in happy and leave happier with fresh trims and baths. Frequent groomings keep a pet adjusted to the treatment in the professional grooming shop. You wouldn't understand the shop uses syringes to administer oral medications, give newborn puppy feedings when needed and the owner of the shop's dogs being given adult and puppy vaccines. The syringes were not in the showroom area where the public would have access to them. All used syringes are disposed of properly. New syringes could have fallen on the floor also. Then the syringes are never used on pet owner's animals or the employees in the shop. The young man Nick helping in the shop is an autistic genius who loves pets and people who he's around. He is 27 now and is a computer technician. He had helped off and on over the years bathing and fluffing pets with a very gentle manner and superb capability having been trained by his grandmother who's our head groomer. Not one customer until you has said anything mean about Nick due to the fact customers love him. Nick now doesn't help at the shop and everyone asks about him all the time because they love and miss him. You act as though we are vicious, hateful, animal abusing people who should in your eyes be done away with like disabled Nick. You are completely out of line in all aspects of your review. us down. You have dramatized this whole event and said some very hurtful things when it was your mistake to ask for a trim on your dog that was unaccetable and you were told so before the grooming. Maybe next time you ask for an long haircut somewhere I hope your dog will be healed of her condition and her hair will be grown out so that you may get what you want from that business to get your good reviews if you ever give them to anyone. Best Wishes to your dog, Trish's Grooming
