Review content:
just visited the lobster trap with my family. The set up is such that you order at a window and pick up your food yourself. The menu is hand written, which is cute when the menu changes and there are chef specials. There are no specials here, there is boiled and fried seafood, no chef in the house. Although the prices would make you think there is a chef. On the menu board I saw a lobster bucket 33 dollars for a lobster, corn, a small net of steamers and linguica. The way I read the board, if you jumped to 35 dollars you could get a 2 pound lobster instead of a 1 1/4. That is what I asked for when I ordered. No one corrected me when ordering. I was splitting the meal with my elderly mother who does not eat much and my 8 year old who LOVES lobster. When we received our order it was a very small (doubt it was 1 1/4 lbs, def a chix) some corn, about 12 NE steamers. When I discussed with the manager that the board was confusing and I had asked more that one person when ordering, he just said , 'sorry' and ignored me...THE CUSTOMER....\r \r The dining room is excessively loud, the new bar is nice but now the drinks are way too expensive. For 150.00 for 5 people, that is NOT where I would go next time. For that much money, I want a real waitress, a quiet setting and a menu and wait staff that know what the menu is....And I don't want to pick up my own food and drinks and have to go up and ask for forks and knives......Cafeteria food, fine dining prices...REALLY!\r
