Businiess name:  Med Now Urgent Care

First, the address is 104 N. Belair not S. Belair in case there is any confusion. Came into the office at 7 minutes to 7:00, they supposively close at 7:00. I was told they had taken the last patient at 6:30 (then post your times closing at 6:30!!!). I drove myself there in great pain due to a sinus headache that lasted over 18 hours and was not being relieved by OTC meds. Could not take another level 10+ pain throughout another night so decided to go to Urgent Care. I asked if there was another Prompt Care place in the area that stayed open later, Without really looking at me I was told that possibly Wheeler road but she didn't know. I was obviously in pain (pale, bent over, barely opening my eyes in pain) and she did not offer any assistance by calling around for me.... and why wouldn't they have that info ready anyway??? I sat in the wating room with my head in my hands because the pain was making me nauseous and I knew i could not drive around looking for another place. I called my husband and asked him to google other facilities. While waiting for his call back a nurse came out at precisely 7:01 and asked if I was waiting for a ride. I told her I was told I could not be seen today and that I could not drive at the moment because of the pain. She just stood there looking at me. I asked her if she was asking me to leave and she replied that "well we have cleaning crew coming and we need to lock the doors so...." I could not believe it. I collected myself enough to waddle out the door making a side commet about their lack of compassion. I sat in my car waiting for my husband thinking how I would have been treated with more compassion if I had been ill in a grocery store. Their only concern was that those doors were locked at 7:00. No one checked up on me before leaving. For all they knew I could have passed out in my car. I wasn't their concern. NOT what you want from a medical facility. Even a little care goes a long way when someone is in blinding pain. Date of incident: 6/12/13
