I disagree with the positive feedback below. I used Alan to prepare my 2012 taxes. He was unresponsive and seemed overwhelmed. Here are some examples:\r

- Took him 8 days to respond when he told me ""3 days maximum""\r
- He simply doesn't respond to e-mails, only phone calls.\r
- Told me repeatedly how ""this is a very busy time for him"" almost trying solicit my sympathy. Clearly it's a busy time for all tax CPA's but they don't use it as an excuse for poor service.\r
- Initially told me he would prepare my return himself. Weeks later he said ""well i'll have to check on others who are preparing it.""\r
- Once I finally got ahold of him to tell me how much I owed the government, he told me the amount was 20% lower than 5 minutes later said, ""whoops, i made a mistake, it's 20% higher. It's a busy time of year for me""\r

Bottom line: It wasn't a good experience.
