I shopped at several dealers in one day looking for a newer truck. Though the exact truck i was looking at on the website had alerady been sold several days earlier, i actually found a few good choices. My salesman was a younger guy but seemed to know enough about the vehicles and was very easy to deal with. The sales manager was nice enough. And I got the deal i was looking for. Had they both been terribly rude it would have made little difference as price is the most important thing. But they displayed quality customer service. My sales man even came up on his day off to see me through when i dropped off the check. I financed through my bank as i had intended from the start. I agreed to here your finance officer's offer, it was not a bad offer. However he, who looked like the principle off farris Buelar's day off was unimpressive. Talking fast and using numbers and acting like disagreeing with him is stupid may work in many cases, I was unimpressed. He's was harsh and rude. When i came in a few days later to pick up the truck I sat down with another loan officer in the box. This guy was offering the same deal but was much more resonable and respectful. I however declined as my bank is where i do business and I would like to keep it that way. However one bad apple must not spoil the bunch and I rather enjoyed my buying experience.
