Review content:
I went to this restaurant for lunch with a group from work. The ambience was fairly nice: it was nicely decorated and the booth where we sat felt private and comfortable.
They serve focaccia and an olive oil/balsamic vinegar mix which was very addictive. We ordered soup to start; everyone chose the lobster bisque, which turned out to be delicious, but so rich I couldn't finish it. They have a limited selection of entrees, but everything sounded good. Unfortunately, two at our table ordered dishes involving salmon and they were out of salmon, as the waiter informed us jokingly. No apology.
The service was in general polite, and our glasses were never empty, but the little things were missing.
When the entrees finally came, we had some good and some bad. I ordered the Pesto Penne; the pasta was fine although somewhat bland, but the chicken was extremely dry and flavorless. Others liked their dishes better, however.
Halfway through my meal I noticed a hair in my water glass, which completely put me off the whole experience.
To top it off we had to wait quite a while for our check. My final decision was that it's not worth going back, even for that creamy lobster bisque.
