Businiess name:  The Rhoades School

Review content:
I am an 8th grader who has attended the Rhoades School for nine years, since Kindergarten. The teachers are caring, kind, and inspiring. Three in particular have permanently impacted me. My middle school history teacher has helped me find and develop my passion for the past. As a historian-in-training, as I like to call myself, having a roll model such as her is invaluable. The next is my literature teacher. She has taught me many skills, both in and out of the classroom. It is obvious that she genuinely cares about each and every student she teaches. She does everything she can to make sure that ALL of her students understand the material, and would never just leave a student behind. The third is my science teacher. She is probably the most hard-working person one would ever meet. Every single student from 3rd-8th grade creates a science fair report/project. She helps over 200 students conduct an experiment or study every year, and many of them have no idea how to do such a thing. This year, many of our students attended the GSDSEF (Greater San Diego Science and Engineering Fair). Fourteen of those students went on to attend the CSSF (California State Science Fair), and numerous students were nominated for the Broadcom national competition. The students are bright, fun, and accepting. The classes are engaging, gripping, and enjoyable. The only downside to Rhoades is that it is very academically advanced. This leads to large sums of homework that is challenging and time consuming, but for a student who requires this academic challenge, Rhoades is perfect! Due to the preparation that Rhoades has offered me, I will be attending Pacific Ridge School for high school. If you feel your child is truly exceptional send him or her to Rhoades without a doubt. If your child is easily stressed or does not easily grasp complicated subjects, pick a less rigorous school. However, from my experiences there, I would be unable to recommend any other elementary and middle school experience on any person.
