Businiess name:  Clara's

We love Hawaii. Clara's "Food for the soul" on 45th is a great Hawaiian restaurant. The main courses are basic, but excellent, and include plain steamed vegetables to compensate for the starch. The portions are healthy. If you like shioyaki mackerel this is a good place to go - you get nearly half a fish! The kalua pork and meatloaf are wonderful. The kids will love the mashed potatoes and requisite macaroni salad. Don't forget to ask for haupia for a little desert. This place never gets crowded, so we're sometimes afraid that it can't last. Watch out for the kalbi, they use market pricing for organic Vashon meat, which can be surprisingly high. There's no booster seats, but they do have high chairs.
