Review content:
Allen Edwards has been my mothers, my sisters and my hairdresser for years. I swore by him and would never go anywhere else. Woodlands Hills, Studio City, Brentwood, whichever salon he was working in that day is where I went. Although he is known for his slightly uneven haircuts (and loves to try to persuade you to let him cut your long hair short), I went to him for highlights and root touch-ups mostly. One day he left me under the dryer too long ( I think he forgot about me) and burned off the top layers of my hair! Not only did he charge me for the visit AND blame this one time event on the cons of 'overproccessed hair' (which he seemingly self- admitted to overprocessing himself), in his attempt to fix it which only made it worse, he charged me for that visit too! I have long hair so when the burned off parts grew out they stuck straight out of my long hair. It was awful. I now go to one of his past assistants and will never ever ever go back to Allen.
Pros: many locations around LA
Cons: None, if you want your hair burned off
