We do not recommend this restaurant. The food, the service and the ambiance were disappointing. The food was mediocre at best and after waiting an hour for our meal, it wasn't even hot. The waitress never came once to explain the long wait for the food and we couldn't find her to even complain. The place was extremely noisy as the host makes a big production out of raffling out $15 coupons for dinner to be used on your return visit. This is followed by three mediocre belly dancers which is a lot for a place that small where there is barely enough room for the waiters and waitresses to get by and the music is so loud that all conversation is suspended for the time that the belly dancers are performing. After 30 minutes of belly dancing, the host leads the entire restaurant in singing happy birthday and several more birthday songs. There are very good middle eastern restaurants in Chicago with better food, better service and where you can sit down and have a conversation with your meal. This frankly, is not one of them. Pros: exotic decor, accomodates large groups Cons: bad food, bad service, overpriced, loud
