July 2002 I brought my vacationing family of six to Medizona. The restaurant is decorated in the colorful hues of the southwest but the food is not limited to southwestern fare. Appetizers included Rabbit, Fig and Pinenut Baklava, and Eggplant Tacos with Lamb, Arrugula and Kasseri Cheese. These dishes weren't just different they were magnificent. The main course offerings included Achiote Rubbed Salmon and Grilled smoked Pimenton-Honey Glazed Veal Chop. This is the first time in five years that I actually asked the chef to sign my menu. Oh and for you dessert lovers looking for a touch of Arizona local flavor may I strongly recommend Prickly Pear Tiramisu. I was just a vactioner from New Jersey looking for a good meal in Arizona. I am now a devoted fan of Medizona. Pros: Delectable Offerings, Trained Staff, Warm Ambiance Cons: Expensive
