I was in the process of writing an offer on a new home and needed to get a price quote on carpet for the basement of the home I was looking to purchase. I found out at the last minute the seller was willing to pay for new flooring. I called Steve Russell, CEO of Buddy's Flooring America, whom I went to school with. I told him of my situation and my fiance and I met Steve at Buddy's. We went through samples, decided on a stock piece and worked out all of our pricing. To our surprise, the pricing was significantly lower than Home Depot. I will have to say that Steve went above and beyond our expectations. I told Steve I needed a written quote that day. He rearranged his busy schedule to accomodate my needs and drove 40 minutes to measure my home. After measuring the space he went back to his office and emailed me a quote over which I included in my offer.
