DO NOT GET SPRAY TANNED HERE! I have gone spray tanning before, but have gotten it done by a machine and a better facility. My fiancé and I were to have engagement pictures taken late in the week when we got our spray tans done. Since we are paying a lot of money for these pictures and our photographer, we thought it would be worth the extra money to have an actual person perform the tan for us. I should have known by walking in and seeing the “amazon themed” store that it was trash from the beginning. The lady who performed our tanning was unorganized and seemed frazzled taking two or three customers at one time, not finishing one at a time. I sat down to read the pamphlet about the procedure and learned that I was supposed to bring baggy clothing, exfoliate before, and shave. Thank God I did at least shave, but the clothing was already a problem. I told the lady that we did not receive any of this information and maybe we should wait. She said she was sorry that whoever made our appointments should have told us this, but encouraged us to proceed.\r \r I finally was taken back to the “spray room.” Let me tell you that you walk through what seems like a normal tanning salon, through a messy fitness center, to a bathroom where the spray tan is done. YES A BATHROOM. There were make-shift curtains up with a towel on the floor where she was going to be spraying us. She didn’t even tell me to wash off my make-up which thankfully I asked. After the actual spraying was done, I stood in the disgusting bathroom next to a space heater to dry. She came to check on me and I told her there was a huge dark streak running down my leg and if that was to be expected. She said no and wiped it off with a wash cloth…needless to say in the morning I woke up with a white streak down my leg. She then put me in a stand-up tanning bed to get a better dry since she had no fans or anything to even dry the tan on. However, my fiancé never received the stand-up bed so I am still confused on what that was all about. \r \r Before we left, my fiancé had noticed his knuckles were not even sprayed and she took us both back and sprayed our hands again. WORST IDEA OF MY LIFE. We woke up the next day with BRIGHT ORANGE (not exaggerating) hands with some areas even worse than the others. I was so embarrassed to go to work and I could not believe how terrible the tan actual turned out. As I mentioned before, you would think a person performing the spray on you would be more thorough, but it was the sloppiest work I have ever gotten done on myself.
