Walking into the Original Steer Market is like walking back in time. Men in white coats, the smell of FRESH meat, and the chill in the air from the refrigeration.
What makes this market different from the others is the specialty meat offerings such as their teriyaki chicken and beef kabobs, their twice stuffed potatoes, and their patient education of patrons as to how to get the most flavor out of the meat.
Meat packs are available..altough who wants frozen when you can walk in and pick up fresh just before dinner on your way home?
Oh, one more thing..if you bring your kids....they have a candied salmon jerky that's a special treat no matter how old you are!
