My daughter has seen Dr. Dawson her short little life of 11 months. Dr. Dawson is an amazing doctor. She truly cares about her patients, she listens...SHE is amazing. The office staff, however is the worst I have had to deal with in a long time. When I called the office today to get my daughter in with a 103 fever I was transferred to billing, who informed me we had been dismissed from the practice. After a ton of digging I found our claims were being denied. It took a good 20 minutes of arguing with the billing girl with an attitude problem to get to this point. I called my insurance and all they wanted to know was if they were still the primary coverage for my daughter. That's it. One tiny call and it was all cleared up. They said they will pay all the bills. Did anyone from Dublin Primary care call me to tell me they were getting claims denied? Did they bother to let me know that I just needed to call my insurance and clear something up? No, they waited until I was in a panic with a sick child to tell me I couldn't bring her in. I called the office manager and my phone call was not returned. I am FURIOUS with this staff. How completely unprofessional. My daughter has United and Tricare. There is no reason we should be dismissed from a practice. If they were having billing issues, they should have called. I would recommend Dr. Dawson in a heartbeat, but because of the staff, I would have to say find another doctor. It's not worth being treated so terribly.
