Review content:
We've been going here for nearly twenty years. During that time, we've changed insurance plans twice. Both times, Dublin Primary Care failed to update their records, despite our giving the front desk the new cards and alerting them that we had new coverage. In the first instance, they continued to bill the old insurer, submitting the same claim repeatedly and never bothering to check their own files to determine why the claims were being rejected. We took the insurance cards in again and pointed out that they were billing the wrong company. After a few months, they finally got it correct. Last June, due to a job change, we changed insurance again. At the first visit, we showed the front desk the new card, which they photocopied, and told them that our insurance had changed. This time our experience was even worse. They continued repeatedly submitting the bill to the wrong insurance company for SIX MONTHS! This, despite our taking the card back again, and making two phone calls to their billing department. Finally, they billed the correct insurance company but the claim was rejected because it was not submitted within the contracted time. At this point, Dublin Primary Care began sending us threating letters demanding payment. They never responded to our letter pointing out that it was their own errors that led to the account being late. I totally agree with another reviewer, beccara929. The doctors here are awesome! But, save yourself the time and aggravation from having to deal with the incompetent and abusive billing staff by going somewhere else.
