Review content:
My teen daughter and both made appointments to see Dr. Chan in December 2003. It was the worst experience I've ever had with an optometrist!
He "examined" both of us in less than 5 minutes. Both of us have medical histories that require more extensive examines by a prudent optometrist.
He "prescribed" lenses and, since we picked our frames before hand we were on our way.
When we returned to pick up our glasses that were paid for 100% by insurance, the clerk handed them to us and said "you're done". We both put them on. I could not see out of mine and my daughter's gave her an immediate headache. We tried to hand them back to the clerk but she said it was all she could do. Dr. Chan finally came into the lobby, looked at us, and said that he'd done the right thing and to leave his office.
I called the Optometrist board and learned that this doctor has the most complaints of any one in the state. Don't go there. Your eyes will thank you.
