Review content:
I moved to Riverdale from the city and was looking for a salon in the neighborhood. I came across Aria which looked like a beautiful upscale salon and the prices were the same as what I payed in Manhatten so I figured I would give it a try. When I went in for a color and cut I had to wait for the receptionist to get off her cell phone to check me in and she had the nerve to look annoyed!\r I specifically asked the hairdresser if she could use Aveda color because I have been using it for years and it doesn't irritate my scalp the way other colors have. She said no problem but she must have used something elsd because my scalp starting burning right away. She insisted it was Aveda like I wouldn't know the difference. My roots were darker than my ends, I was really upset and they told me the roots would lighten up after a few washings. They charged me more than the price on the menu because they said it was a new color. I didn't want a ""new"" color! I wanted the same color. I was so angry I left without getting my haircut.\r \r I would not recommend Aria to anyone! Pros: beautiful neighborhood, nice appearance, served me wine Cons: didn't listen to what I wanted and didn't try and fix the my bad color
