Review content:
This was my first tattoo, after thinking about it for years, and the whole staff at Tiger Lilly, and especially Matthew, the artist who worked with me, made it an easy, comfortable, fun, and interesting experience. Matthew is just incredible. I gave him a very complicated design one which he spent a lot of time. I changed my mind the day before the tattoo and he had to scrap an AMAZING tracing and spend on hour on the new design. Astonishingly, he didn't charge for any of his design time. He knew I was apprehensive of pain and discomfort and he gently helped me understand and then experience the tattoo -- without ever being condescending. His good humor and genuine manner are always at the surface. The best part, of course, is that he is a gifted and experienced artist. The tattoo turned out even better than I expected and now I am psyched, in a big way, to get more work done. \r

I visited several places in PDX and spoke to quite a few people. Matthew's portfolio, which has amazing detail and shadow work, really captured me. His character, professionalism, and pride in his work made this a perfect experience. I couldn't be happier.
