Here is the deal, I let this company manage two homes of mine. First all they did was take money from me and never managed anything, they have a fee for doing anything at all above the monthly fee you already have to pay them. They poorly screen renters so expect people that can not pay their bills and will trash the house. Do not let Homepointe (RAM) touch your property, they do not know what they are doing, all they want to do is add on more charges and the RAM maintenance guys are horrible at fixing homes. Basically I did all the inspections, all the maintenance and I had to do the work to get late rent paid to me, Homepointe did nothing at all, and here is the last nasty point, when I stopped using Homepointe they owed me $600 deposit and they did everything they could to not pay me back, I have opened a claim with the Better Business Bureau to get my money back, do not expect them to return your deposit, all they want to do is keep your money. One final point, one of my homes was brand new, the poorly selected renter they sent to me trashed my home so bad I had to replace everything inside, clean and paint for a month and that renter never paid their rent nor did the small deposit cover the damage, not even close, Homepoint did nothing to get money from the renter at all, I got shafted and Homepointe just wanted to take my money for doing nothing. Thats the point rent on your own you do not need a crappy company like Homepointe. Run from them before it is to late.
