Completely unresponsive to emergent pages. If and when you get a response, they may or may not act on it. In one year of renting from HomePointe, I had two emergencies involving plumbing with water damage. The first time they failed to respond for 3 days then never came to act on it (fixed it myself). The second time I paged them for damage occurring from unknown cause...they took over 8 hours to respond by phone (left 5 urgent messages on HomePointe emergency system). It took 1 1/2 days to act on it. When they came to fix it, they didn't know what to do.
HomePointe makes up their own rules (mostly involving ways to keep your deposit) but fortunately they fail to adhere to the law. ""hello, is this the Attorney Generals office...did you receive my complaint?""
