Bad customer service, unprofessional, unreliable, unresponsive.
We own a property in Sacramento and decided to go with Homepointe to manage it, since our main residence is a few hours away. Used them for a couple of years and it was the worst experience we've ever had.
Fired them and took over the management of the property ourselves. A year later and we are still having problems with Homepointe. They actually sent us, the property owners, to collections for a bill that was paid as soon as the bill arrived. Good thing we keep meticulous records.
Just avoid this company and James Safonov, one of the property managers. He is one of the most unreliable property managers I've ever worked with.
Being a property owner is stressful enough, you dont need a property management company that adds to it.
Cons: Everything, seriously, everything.
