During our visit in Salt Lake City we also visited the Harry O's club in Park City. The famous DJ Tiesto was playing there, we know him from Europe and this was a good opportunity to see him again. We checked the Harry O's web, where under "Fashion" we read: ?Classy Nightclub Attire?, being from Europe that was no problem for us, because we always dress up going out clubbing. Our local friends told us the club is really nice and cool and and and. The ticket said the door opens at 8pm, around 9:30 there was a very long line, anyway we had a few drinks next door hoping the line will get smaller soon, well around 10:30 we were standing in the line and it started raining, in no time there was a downpour with thunders. There were more than 50 people outside; do you guys think they did let us in? NO, they didn?t!!! They had one (!) guy at the door checking the ID and one lady sitting there checking the tickets like they have all the time in the world.... Well finally we made it inside, some local DJ was playing, so we went straight to the bar, my gin & tonic was so awful tasting that after the first sip I got rid off it. I was so disappointed from the place! The place in general gave us a messy impression, it was very crowded, with very little space left to dance, it was too hot, (was the A/C broken?), and most people were not in a "classy nightclub attire" Once Tiesto started playing we got into better mood and did survived with bottled beer until the end (2am). This club is world famous??? For what??? It's absolutely not comparable with better nightclubs in California, Florida or Europe (and believe me we have seen many clubs). In the better clubs all people do dress up, you get great drinks and also people don't throw empty cups and water bottles on the floor, later on it really looked like a pig stall.... (... or is it the "Wild West" style?...) What a disappointment!!!
