Review content:
At last week's Roots show I was assulted by a bartender who was wearing an "I FU** MORMON P*$$Y" t-shirt. Apparently coked out of his mind and very confused, he mistook me for somebody else and started screaming obscenities at me from behind the bar. In the middle of screaming at me, he ran out into the crowd and tackled another guy, punched him in the face, and then came over to me and got into my face.
He also screamed at a guy for not ordering quickly enough, and yet another for not tipping up to par. I heard a group of guys claiming that they were going to break a bottle over his head. I just wanted to watch a fun concert, and the atmosphere was kind of like the beginning scenes in Roadhouse before Swayze comes in to straighten things out. Or maybe like a drug*ed out, dangerous rendition of the Soup N*zi.
Although he was a complete joke, it was not fun to deal with this idiot, and we had a group of 15 guys and girls who skipped the Mardi Gras party the following night just to avoid these crazy bartenders.
If you want fights and a-holes, go here. I'd recommend nearly anywhere else in Utah. Women are not safe here, nor are men. This guy has an honest to goodness coke problem, and its definitely a shock to the system to order a drink from a guy who decides to pull your shirt and scream at you when you walk into a bar.
Pros: Big name bands
Cons: Agressive scene with tons of fights, all of them started by the bartenders
