Businiess name:  Muddy's Coffeehouse

Review content:
I had to meet with a collegue in termoil yesterday...she was very upset and I suggested that she name the place to meet..she suggested Muddy's, a place I'd never been. The name suggested I look for a divvy store front with big windows and florescent lights...in fact, I almost missed it because I was so off base. Muddy's is in a giant old North Portland house. After walking up the steps (It may not be wheel chair accessible), entering the home has the feel of entering your own home..the kitchen and counter are in the center but people are talking in every room in low muted tones that matches the decor. I wasn't in a coffee mood, so I tried the hot chocolate which was made with semisweet chocolate syrup and steamed milk. I also tried a chocolate chip cookie, baked onsite which was the kind we used to make at christmas...uneven, almost dough, and full of chips..YUM! I felt so comfortable there I almost thought I should change my shoes for slippers...which made for a great place for my friend and I to hash through and resolve her issues..as for my resolve, I resolve to go back!
