Review content:
I brought to the Swan Cleaners my husband’s pants with some curry sauce on the lap and my cotton sweater that was perfectly clean but for a spot of wax on the cuff. I got the pants and the sweater presumably cleaned back. My biggest mistake was that I did not check them on the spot. I brought them home and only later I noticed that the wax stain was still on my sweater and the pants, while the curry was gone, still had a very visible spot with a defined dark edges where the curry had been. I returned back to the cleaners and had an interaction with the same guy. I tried to explain the problem quietly, but the guy interrupted me on every word, yelling back louder and louder. I was accused of bringing him a “completely different sweater because the wax spot looked brand new”, and I was called a liar, also I was told to “never bring such dirty pants to the dry cleaners and the only thing left was to wash them in the washing machine.” He threatened me with the police though the only one who was yelling was he, for he hardly gave me an opportunity to say a word. Then he said that I can talk to the owner Mr. Swan when he returns back. I asked him what was his name and he did not tell me and yelled to me to get out. That was a bald guy with the thick grey beard. End of the story. What are my feelings? The utmost disgust and honestly – a surprise. I’ve never met such treatment before from the service industry. You can decide for yourself weather you want to bring your clothes to the Swan Cleaners. After this experience, I personally wouldn’t recommend Swan Cleaners to my worst enemy.
