Review content:
This historic opera house is located on the water and is a real treasure. You can of course see musicals and plays at the Opera House, but you can also get a behind the scenes of a musical on the Goodspeed Opera House tour by the Goodspeed Guild. Explore backstage dressing rooms while learning about the history of the Opera House. Tours are $5 for adults, $1 for kids, so it is a nice cheap family outing if you are in the area. The Opera house also has Galas, dinners, wine tastings, and other events. If you have a boat, you may dock your boat on Goodspeed's private dock on the Connecticut River, just steps away from the theatre, you must call your docking reservations. They also offer costume rentals.
