Review content:
Sanders Towing is unprofessional, unapologetic, and lacks basic business etiquette (even for a towing company). Obviously anytime your vehicle is held for ransom it is not a positive experience... So a quick retrieval is imperative. My wheels were recently snatched up by a Sanders Tow Truck and logically I called to inquire about their hours of operation. They stated I could pick up my ride M-F from 9-5. After I gathered the required loot ( I am told their daily rate is higher than most but I am ignorant to this industry average... they charge a daily rate of $18/day). I arranged a ride and arrived precisely at 4:10 on Friday afternoon and to my surprise..... lights out, door locked, gate shut. I immediately called and the man who answered said he did not work for the towing company but if the door was locked I was out of luck and I could not get my vehicle until Monday. Which I may add is another absurdity, given towing is a 24/7 job and you know they have no qualms about going to impound your transportation at all hours, then why is it that I can not get mine back for another 3 days??? \r
Anyhow, after an annoying weekend of being with out transport I got another ride back up to their lot, paid the lady who failed to apologise to me, only saying that they had something to do that day so they closed up early (her tone leading me to believe this is a normal occurrence). And when asked to deduct some of the daily fees for my inconvenience she said no, sorry it is not her place to authorize deductions. \r
So, my TIP(s)... \r
If you get towed, first hope its not to D.Sander's lot. But if it is, try to retrieve your vehicle immediately, bring cash only and be sure to call ahead and call ahead again. \r
And if you are D.S Towing, step into 2013! I realize you are towing company but that is no excuse to have zero web presence & zero customer service skills. C'mon people you can collect cc payment via your cell phones these days, why don't you? and hence is why you will receive ZERO stars out of 5 from this ranting lady!
