Review content:
When I needed a second opinion regarding an orthopaedic surgery recommendation, I checked both online and with 2 medical professionals I know for which doctor/practice would be a good choice. I read rave reviews on Resurgens online and it was the first choice suggested by both of my friends. However, I have been VERY disappointed with the customer service provided by the main office.
Each time I have called with questions, I have been given information that has turned out to be either incorrect or only ""partially"" correct...that was including how to go about getting a second opinion from one of their doctors, about hours various locations were open, about the staff member I should be talking to about my situation, and so on. In the end, I did finally manage to get my records to one of their offices. Last week, a message was left for me to call and set up an appointment. At the time, I breathed a sigh of relief that I was through with the other problems with the office. HOWEVER, after several days and leaving multiple messages, I have yet to hear back from the person who called to schedule me.
The front office is a direct reflection of the organization and service provided by a medical practice. Unfortunately, the reflection I have been provided for Resurgens isn't one that inspires confidence in the practice or the medical professionals who work there.
It is even more frustrating that I have to go back through the process of getting a copy of my medical records, including x-rays and MRI for which I get to pay out of pocket since it is a second request for disks of each, and that I will lose another couple hours of work time so that I can seek a 2nd opinion from a different practice.
