Review content:
I was not given a complete explanation of how the cleaning process was to go. I had asked Joey, the first tech who came out to give an estimate, if the vent covers needed to come off and he said yes, we will do that. I told Joey that I wanted to do that so the paint would not peel off around the wall and vent. He said he is asked that sometimes and it is no problem; he has tape that will cover the vent.
The tech that came out (I do not remember his name but his sales tech. # is 663) asked why the vents were off, and I explained what Joey had said about using tape to cover the vent. He said he could not do that because the tape will get sucked into the system. I, at that point, should have been told that I or he could have put the vent covers back on and had a sealed system to do the job more efficiently.
Secondly, Joey never mentioned anything about sanitizing the system. The second tech did, but with an up charge. What's the point of getting an estimate if you are going to try and sell an up charge when the tech gets here?
