Owned by the folks the own Stellas Trattoria in Wallingford/University area, Mitchelli Trattoria is located downtown in Pioneer Square not too far from the waterfront.
Due to its location Mitchelli Trattoria seems to pick up lots of toursit families. The food has never been on par with its other locations (theres about 3-4 locations in Seattle).
This would be a good place to meet up with out of towners as its very central and its very kid friendly but the food itself is very mediocre.
Mitchelli Trattoria hosts a pasta of the week, a soup of the day, and a barrage of wonderful desserts.
Heck Id go just for their carmello!
