Review content:
I switched to Eqionox after a 8 year membership in another major gym, as I was seduced by more convenient location, great facilities, range of services, and of course what they had promised to me as a new customer.\r
Since day # 1 i was terribly disappointed. \r
They refused to provide what they had promised (despite those promises being given to me in wrtiting), referring to ""mistakes"" made by the person who was signing me up and who promised more that she should have. As i insisted, the manager insulted me and literally kicked me out of his office, saying he was fed up with me.\r
One trainer skipped the session and disappeared when i was slightly late for the sessions.\r
\r
I signed up for duet Pilatis and paid for the package, but only got a couple of sessons. Then they offered me to transfer my package to individual sessions - for double the price. I refused and wanted the money back. Took my FIVE Months to get my money back, as my emails and calls went unresponded (have copies of emails).\r
When i finally decided to cancel my membership, I got a written promise that it was going to be cancelled the first Monday of November, but now i am told that despite that I will still have to pay for November. In other words, my membership is cancelled, but I am still paying.\r
is there anything ethical about how Equinox conducts its business?
Pros: great facility.
Cons: terrible managemenrt. failed promises.
