We tried this place after reading the reviews here but were a bit disappointed with the dishes. But, first of all, I'd like to complement them on a few things: portions were good and the staff was very friendly. We liked the decor b/c it was tasteful for an asian restaurant (somehow I've noticed asian places like to decorate the walls w/ tacky mis-matched pictures) and didn't feel like a cafeteria. And the prices were good. But I was quite disappointed when I ordered the Beef w/ Vegetables and Shrimp w/ Broccoli. There were barely any pieces of beef in the beef dish and for the shrimp dish, it was piled high w/ more broccoli than you could ever want but very few shrimp in it. It was too bad for us b/c we had already had a veggie dish so we basically ended up w/ THREE veggie dishes! And speaking of veggies, they used a lot of cabbage - the hugest chunks I've ever seen for stir fry , that is - so big that apparently it doesn' t soften enough when it gets cooked so some pieces were really hard to bite into. Maybe we would have different opinions if we ordered different dishes, but to me, skimping on the main ingredient is a big turn-off. I was just pretty disappointed after reading the good reviews. Overall, we prefer Zien Hong further up the street on Sandy Blvd - also a viet-chinese restaurant (small place but good food). Pros: Nice clean place, good service, friendly staff Cons: Tea wasn' t very hot, skimped on the main ingredients, veggies not cooked enough
