Businiess name:  Scotti's Italian Restaurant
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
We've been going to Scotti's for more than a few decades. Guido would entertain and serve while Momma cooked in the kitchen. If you gave them any pretention, then watchout, you're likely to get slugged my Momma. Although many great restaurants moved or closed-up shop. It is due to Scotti's consistant commitment to quality and service that it's survived and has customers as loyal as it does. Don't believe that one reviewer. If you go early for lunch, look in the back. You'll see them putting away the meat&casings used to make sausage, or grinding out the pasta. The tiles, including a few whimsical broken coffee-mugs, were set into the wall with loving care by Guido. Although he and Mamma are gone, the latter generations have taken over the family tradition. Like the last in a royal dynasty, Scotti's remains one of the best in the world. Pros: Family owned
