Review content:
We have taken our two children to Windermere Pediatrics for over ten years. I had one bad experience with Dr Watson last June but let it go. My son had a very bad case of hives. I asked Dr Watson to either give him a shot or prescribe prednisone. She refused, sending us away with a sample pack of ""Claritin"". The next day my son was in the emergency room with a swelled tongue and breathing problems. they could not fathom why she had not given him the proper treatment or sent us to the emergency room. This week we went back again. My son, over the weekend developed very bad chest congestion, shortness of breath and was literally coughing up lung fluids in the car on the way there. She said he has the flu. She did admit that his lungs did not sound good. She said she would not prescribe anti-viral medication nor anti-biotics. I questioned her reasoning and she became quite angry. I said I would like a prescription for anti-biotics anyway, due to the fact that his lungs were full and he has had Pnemonia in the past. I also asked if she could prescribe something in generic since I am currently disabled and do not have a large income. She snapped at me that ""I asked too much of her"" ?? Not much to ask in my opinion. She then told me to find another Docotor. I told her that her behaviour was extremely unprofessional and that I had been bringing my children there for years. This is an extremely egotistical and incompetant Doctor in my opinion. As I was checking out, I asked that my childrens records be mailed to my home. She stomped past the check out desk twice, exclaiming ""Unbelievable""! in a loud voice. My son was in tears. There are other good doctors there, but sadly we will take our children somewhere else. This is an emotionally unstable doctor with a ""GOD"" complex and should not be caring for children at all. She has no interest in hearing parental input what so ever.
Pros: Nurses are great. Several other Doctors there are compassionate
Cons: Dr Watson is a detriment to that practise.
