I recently dined at NOBU on a saturday nite with 3 friends. It was our 1st time and was looking forward to it, since hearing soo much about it. The decor and atmosphere are comfortable, the service seamless and a little snobby as was the host who took reservation. I love sushi and eat it all the time and here it was boring and unoriginal, although very fresh. We ordered 3 cold dishes, 3 hot dishes and 4 sushi all had little flavor especially the fluke with spinach salad and portions were tiny. Thanfully we ordered the rock shrimp, best thing we ate. The bento box was also boring, everyone has a warm molten chocolate cake and the green tea ice cream tasted vanilla. Wouldn't go back but can say I tried it.
