Simply outstanding! The best sushi I've ever had.\r

I am not the most adventurous sushi eater. I'm a California roll and eel man. I like hamachi, maguro and some of the more common sushis but I don't love them. However, at Nobu, I was converted. Almost a religious experience onto itself. I had the chef's tasting menu which had a lot of fish I normally wouldn't try but I went for it. WOW!! The flavors were subtle, crisp and very clean. Extremely creative in presentation and taste. I paired my dinner with a bottleof Veuve Clicquot, which seemed to really bring out the sweet and salty flavors. Service was excellent considering I didn't have reservations on a Saturday night, they were very accomodating as the place was packed.\r

This was a very pleasant evening and I highly recommend a visit. It's not cheap but well worth it. Dining at Nobu is one of those things you have to do before you die.
Pros: sushi, ambience, service
