Review content:
After reading all the reviews from a while ago, finally we made a slight detour on our way back home to give it a try. There were not too many choices in terms of cakes and tarts but I assume it was because we got there an hour before their closing time. We asked for recommendation and decided to try the ""Red Hook Red Hot"" and ""Sweet & Salty Tart"". Oh mine! The Red Hook Red Hot was amazing. The cake was smooth and soft and the cream was light and with a hint of cinnamon. I am not a cream person and normally I scrape all off from cakes before eating... NOT THIS ONE. I enjoyed every single bite of it! The Sweet & Salty Tart was way too sweet for me since I am not a fan of caramel, however, my boyfriend LOVES it! This is a very nice little place to hang out at, without paying an arm and a leg like the cafes in Manhattan. We would definitely go back for more.
Pros: Good food, plenty of on street parking
Cons: A bit of a trip if you don't drive
