First time I went there, my dog had scratched her eye and it was swollen. I called ahead and they said, ""come on in, there's no wait at all."" (I lived 5 mins away at the time.) Being a single mom with a small child ( 7 years old ) who was asleep, I decided to leave her in her room and told my neighbors that I'd be only 30 mins so they agreed to watch her. Got to FRAH and sat in an EMPTY waiting room at 10 pm at night, after telling them I had left my small child at home. After 30 mins I asked them how much longer? The Dr. will be with you. An hour later, when I was very angry, I asked ""why did you tell me to come in if no one was available?"" ""Opps, we forgot to tell you, the Dr. had an emergency right before you came in, not sure how long it will be"". . . Second experience . . . I saw a neighborhood cat get run into by a car on my way to work, I picked it and took it to the FRAH because it was bleeding and dying. FRAH would not look at it unless I acknowledged myself as the owner and would pay any charges. I walked out disgusted and sickened that they would not help this defenseless animal.\r \r Last experience, recently my dog got hurt by my neighbor's dog while I was not home. My boyfriend took her to FRAH without telling me first. She was badly injured and by the time I found out where he had gone, it sickened me because they didn't even try to help by working out a partial payment on the ""estimate"" of $880. They next morning at 7 am, they told me I could get her, but I couldn't get off work until lunchtime. Because I picked her up at 12 pm instead of 7 am, I was charged an extra $80. And the total bill ended up being much more, $1200. A few days later my dog's injury was infected and there was no way I was taking her back there. I'm shocked that people like this place. Every time I have gone there, it's all about $$$. My regular vet had to take out the stiches that FRAH has done, scrub the infected wound clean and restitch everything. NEVER AGAIN. Pros: not really Cons: how much money do you have??
