I lived at Ambleside Commons for 5.5 years. I appreciated the owners for their Maintenance and cleanliness of the property which was always kept up nicely. However the last year of my residence there they had problems keeping a maintenance man and anything needing fixed was put off for weeks. I had a broken garbage disposal which needed replaced for 3 weeks. I couldn't even wash my dishes because water wouldn't drain. Terri, one of the owners, seemed nice at first but she is very nosey and gossipy. You will often find her picking up litter and gossiping about tenants to other tenants. George, the husband, is very rude and stuck up. In all my time living there he never introduced himself to me, and if I spoke to him in passing he ignored me. Previous tenants warned me to be careful when moving out because they don't refund security deposits and routinely bill you for additional expenses. They wanted to raise my rent and have warning. I expressed to Terri that I may look for another place to live ad I have a special needs child and needed handicapped assesible.
