Review content:
We used to like this place for their Charcuterie (piggy) platter and moules and frites. Yesterday we had a terrible experience. We went for an early diner yesterday and ordered the piggy platter for an appetizer followed by moules and frites. We were the only ones in the place and the waitress disappeared for almost 30 minutes after serving us drinks. She then brought out all the food at once except for the toast and mustard that was supposed to come with the appetizer. When we objected she said I thought you wanted it this way and than went back to the kitchen and said they would try and keep the food warm while we ate the appetizer. Both mussels and frites are great when fresh but quickly lose any appeal if put on hold. Than the toast finally came out when we were almost done with the platter. The waitress asked if we wanted anything else and I said how about some fresh mussels and fries and she ignored the request. We asked for the bill and left. We were distressed that they would not offer to re cook at least the fries and they did not do anything like offer a drink to accommodate us for a ruined meal. Another couple came in and ordered as we were leaving and I heard the waitress than ask if they wanted an ordered salad first of with the meal. I am wondering if they kept our food order to heat up for the next suspect who came in and ordered mussels and frites.
