Review content:
So I tried this restaurant tonight and I was thrilled with the experience overall so I figure I would let others know. First of all this is a newly opened family owned restaurant in downtown Berkeley. When you first walk in it may have a slight scent of pine sol but the food makes up for the excessively sanitized scent. There is plenty of space so this would be great for groups, families, working lunches or a casual tasty feast. You must try the Pupusas and also the Scapilon which is the beef with lime and mint......yum. See if you can get a few dishes and share as you will want to try all the different flavors. The food was fresh and delicious, the restaurant was not crowded, which is logical considering they are new. I think if they get more business they will even become a better restaurant and have friendlier wait staff. Overall if you want to try Cuban food, I would definitely give this place a shot, for the price you are getting a great deal of food. Just an FYI not a romantic date place. However, I think this restaurant with a bit of tweeks in the atmosphere has a bright future!
