My family and I were walking through University looking to try out some new restaurants, we decided to give Platano a try. We heard about it a lot and it seemed like the best newbie restaurant in town. I went to Platano to try it out and I was very pleased with the service, we had the nicest waitress in the world. I ordered the Bistec with casamiento and a salad, which was really good. We had plenty of different things; such as: yucca, pasteliyos, platanos and etc. The outcome was DELICIOUS and not too pricy. I have tried pupusas before, but the place I'd been to were a hole in the wall. I highly recommend this restaurant, ESPECIALLY if you are tired of the same old hamburgers and hot dogs.
