Review content:
Nestled in downtown Minneapolis, right next to the Marquette hotel is Mission American Kitchen & Bar. This uber-modern bar is the perfect place to hang out with friends and share a few laughs over cocktails. The bartenders were attentive, and the food was incredible! I had the Kobe pot roast with au gratin potatoes and it melted in my mouth. Several of my friends and I split a couple appetizers and each was better than the last - deviled eggs, short ribs, ceviche with chips - all yummy! The best was definitely the enormous red velvet cake that was like a little taste of heaven. I've heard that they are very busy during lunch(maybe b/c they're located in the IDS building), but it wasn't too crowded after work when we went. Make sure you check out the bar area - they have cool booths and the lighting changes above the bar. I can't wait to visit again!
