Review content:
I worked in printing production for many years and worked on quite a few calendar projects. These days, I'm retired, and I can pick and choose my projects.
I just designed and produced a 2013 art calendar displaying my wife's paintings. I knew what I was looking for in way of a printer, but it took me a while to stop looking in the wrong places. I was exploring the new "on-demand" internet printing sites, but none of them were all that cheap, most of them were relatively new to printing, and they mostly seemed oriented to runs or 5 or 10 for use as family gifts.
Then I caught on that there were plenty of old-time printing companies who had invested in digital presses, and they were a lot more competitive on price. I got quotes from a few, and EBA Printing came out ahead in both price and professional approach.
My 300 printed calendars arrived today. The turn-around was 4 days from uploading my PDF to the UPS truck pulling up, the price is low enough that we can actually make a profit selling them at $10 retail, and the quality of the printing is outstanding. As Hannibal Smith would say, "I like it when a plan works out."
