When my youngest dog had been throwing up all morning and my boyfriend voiced his concerns about salmon blood poisoning I was in a panic. I had just moved to the area and hadn't considered looking for a vet yet (because the closest are in Richland). I was just going to take my dogs to their usual vet in Newcastle (Renton).\r \r So I did a search and found 3 vets. VCA was the first I called and got their exam price. I told them I'd like to call the other vets first before I made my decision. The next one the exam price was alot higher and the third had the same exam price as VCA, however, they said they could schedule me in a couple weeks to come in. Uh...don't you know with salmon blood poisoning my dog could be DEAD by then? So I called up VCA and they let me know they were extremely busy but to come down when I could and they could see what they could do.\r \r We got there and I filled out initial paperwork and within 10 minutes the nurse came and got us.
