Hello Heaven! I’m not much of a cook but I am quite the baker! Over the past few years I have grown to adore cookie cut outs. The cuter they are the more I love them. So with this being said, Williams Sonoma is the place I go for all my cookie/baking needs. This is not to say that I don’t like to dabble into their other departments like cutlery, electronics, cooking tools, bedding and more, but for me the baking department is what really gets me fired up. This particular shop is the largest I’ve seen, so if you are looking for something unique, then this is the one to visit. That doesn’t’ mean that the other shops won’t find you what you want but when you come to this one you know they’ll have what you are looking for. On my last trip I was looking for more cookie cutters. I wanted something different, something that my friends have never seen., something that would give off a pretty big WOW factor. Standing before my eyes were “Message in a Cookie Cutter.” These cutters come with letters so that you can stamp a message in your cookies while you are cutting them into shapes. Genius, I tell you, genius! I quickly snatched these up and then I proceeded to fill up my basket with cookie icing, cookie glitter, cookie paint an of course little cookie candies. I find that when I am at this store, I can’t control myself. Everything is always displayed beautifully and I start to feel like I need to take it all with me. So on this trip I filled the baskets to capacity and went to the register. This is where the fun quickly ended. I spent close to $100 on cookie cutters and cookie decorations. I’m not saying that they weren’t well worth it, but $100, really? So here’s my word: This is a great place for the cook, baker, or home decorator -BUT- be prepared to bring the big wallet. Williams Sonoma is not CHEAP!
