Review content:
I moved back to Chicago about a year & a half ago. I was ready to try 6 or more salons to find a good fit, as I have extremely high standards and expectations when it comes to my hair. I read the reviews about Sine Qua Non and found them to be spotty - most of the complaints seemed to be centered around ""rude"" or ""snobby"" staff. The positive reviews, however, were all based on what's important - quality of service. I'm not particularly sensitive to what some people perceive to be ""attitude"", so I made an appointment for a cut and color with Stevie and ever since I have been hooked. I found the atmosphere to be quite relaxed (I've been to some very upscale salons and I know snobby when I see it), and Stevie's skills are beyond compare. Since that time I have ONLY gone to Stevie at the Lincoln/Diversey location. I am always thrilled with the outcome and the staff has never been anything less than welcoming and pleasant. To those who say it's expensive I say this: you get what you pay for and you can't put a price on greatness.
