Review content:
I had a horrible experience staying in labor in delievery. I had my son at home and then arrived at the hospital shortly afterwords, so maybe that is why we were treated so poorly. \r \r I had after pains that were bad enough to put me in tears and prevent me from sleeping. I had to ask for something for the pain repeatedly, at one point it took 3 requests and 3 hours for them to bother getting to me. This was after I asked that the nurses bring me motrin around the clock. \r \r I repeatedly tried to refuse treatment for both me and my son. For example, they wanted to start my baby on antibiotics for my ""unknown strep B status"" (I had been tested before and knew my status was negative but they didn't have proof of this.) When I tried to refuse treatment they told me I didn't have that option. They hooked him up to an IV and pumped him full of antibiotics every 12 hours. The also drew a VIAL of blood every 12 hours. Sometimes they would not allow me in the room while they did this.\r \r If I tried to take my son home or refuse antibiotics they said they would call my husbands chain of command and have him ordered to keep us there. It was extremely traumatic. I would NEVER reccomend going to this hospital unless the person was seriously ill and there were no other options. They forcfully and agressivly treated my newborn baby for a problem that didn't even exist.
